According to dictionary.com, grief is, "keenmentalsufferingordistressoverafflictionorloss;sharpsorrow;painfulregret." Yes, in the actual definition it say's suffering. A lot of times grief happens when someone that you are close to dies. Grief is the body's natural reaction to this. Grief can happen to anyone, anywhere. Grief happens to animals and people. Obviously grief happens to humans when close family members die. Another example of grief would be cows. Dairy cows are forced to get pregnant and have babies to produce the milk that the humans want. When the cows' calves are born they are immediately they are taken away from their mom. The momma will then grieve the loss of their child for days and days, how sad.
